About Porter’s

Established in 1901, Porter’s Carpet & Furniture has been serving the Cumberland Valley and surrounding areas for over 100 years. Porter’s has remained locally owned and operated since opening for business.

Porter’s is located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania along the Molly Pitcher Highway in a 20,000 square foot building. Porter’s houses four showrooms of furniture for every room, and a fifth showroom accommodates an array of flooring choices.

In order to better serve customers, Porter’s offers the following services free of charge:

  • Furniture delivery
  • Flooring measurements and estimates
  • In-home decorating

Customers can also finance any purchases through Porter’s finance company, Wells Fargo.
