About Porter’s

Established in 1901, Porter’s Carpet & Furniture has been serving the Cumberland Valley and surrounding areas for over 100 years. Porter’s has remained locally owned and operated since opening for business.

Porter’s is located in Shippensburg, Pennsylvania along the Molly Pitcher Highway. Porter’s houses four showrooms of furniture for every room, and a fifth showroom accommodates an array of flooring choices.

In order to better serve customers, Porter’s offers the following services free of charge:

  • Furniture delivery
  • Flooring measurements and estimates
  • In-home decorating
